As part of eating disorder awareness week (which takes place from February 23 to March 6 this year), Clark Counseling Services has collaborated with Walden Behavioral Health to present a movie night for students and community members. The movie night will showcase the film America The Beautiful —an award winning documentary that highlights America’s interest and, at times, obsession with physical perfection. Following the film there will be a discussion about body image, health, and our role as consumers of the message that “beauty is everything”. This event will be held on Wednesday, February 26 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Jefferson 218. Refreshments will be provided.
