Prof. Torres Stone to attend conferences; publishes article in Journal of Medical Internet

Rosalie Torres Stone, visiting assistant professor with the department of sociology, will be the Presider to a Midwest Sociological Association Formal Paper Session titled “Can evaluation research answer fundamental sociological questions?”  at the MSS Annual Meeting April 3-6, 2014. Later that month she will be chairing a symposium  titled “Peer Review of Community-Based Participatory Research in Health Disparities and Stakeholder Engagement in the Research Process” at the 35th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions of the Society of Behavioral Medicine, held April 23-26, 2014. She is co-author on a manuscript “Willingness to Use Email and Social Media for Peer-to-Peer Cancer Screening Communication,” recently published in the Journal of Medical Internet, 2013, Nov 28, 2(2):e52.
