Prof. Klooster delivers talk on Dutch ‘Golden Age’ at Assumption College

On November 13, 2013, the Assumption College Ecumenical Institute & Medieval and Early Modern Studies program presented a lecture by  Willem Klooster,  Professor and Chair of History at Clark University, titled “The Soldiers and Sailors of the Dutch Atlantic:  Iconoclasm and Deprivation in the Seventeenth Century.” Professor Klooster discussed pirates, privateering, and religious conflict in the Caribbean and beyond.
