Pianist Eunmi Shim to perform ‘Bach, Beethoven, and the French Overture’ concert on Sept. 7 at Razzo Hall

Pianist and musicologist Eunmi Shim, associate professor of music at WPI, is the award-winning author of “Lennie Tristano: His Life in Music.” This piano recital will feature works by J.S. Bach and Beethoven in the fateful key of C minor, including the Bach Partita, No. 2 and the Beethoven. Piano Sonatas op. 13 (Pathetique) and op. 111, his final and most profound work in the genre.
