As Clark University grew during the late-19th-mid-20th century era, a number of Main South dwellings and other buildings were taken over for university use. Over time, these buildings were replaced by purpose-built buildings, and now have been largely forgotten. Learn about these now-vanished landmarks in an entertaining talk by Sandy Meltzer ’61 of Preservation Worcester — a Clark alumna who remembers many of them. Find out what they looked like and discover the people who built them. Join us afterward for a walk around the campus to see where these lost buildings once stood.
