Innovation and Entrepreneurship announces U-reka finalist prize amounts

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program has counted the votes for this year’s Ureka Big Idea Contest. With only two votes separating first and second place, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program is excited to announce this year’s finalist rankings:
- First Place ($2,500): The Clark Melting Pot led by Shalmali Ghate ’15, Alexis Church ’15 and Vika Grindle ’15;
- Second Place ($1,500): Clark Raquet-eering led by Jun Ha (Marcel) Lyu ’13; and
- Third Place ($1,000): Back to School Safety led by Rebecca Raphaelson ’14.
Each of the U-Reka finalists will be mentored during Spring semester by staff and volunteers at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program to continue working toward implementation of their idea on campus.
